I created this website in order to share my photography with my family, friends and anyone else interested in viewing my photographs. I became interested in photography in 1984, and it is now one of my favorite hobbies. I primarily enjoy landscape photography and have used a Canon A-1 for many years, although I have also recently begun using a Canon digital camera in addition to my A-1. Among my other hobbies are camping and back country hiking, activities that regularly provide me with the opportunity to photograph some of those places off the beaten path. The small size of my Canon digital camera makes it much easier to carry with me than my A-1 when hiking and, therefore, I am able to have it with me at all times and available when those unexpected opportunities arise for that "special" photograph. I live in North Carolina, but, as is clear from my pictures, I love the southwest and much of my photography is taken in that area. I make regular trips to the southwest where I camp and hike with my husband and sister and occasionally other family and friends.
